Welcome to that perfect break in the heart of the Shropshire countryside
Welcome to Yew Tree Farm Bed and Breakfast in Much Wenlock, Shropshire. The B&B is situated in a glorious part of the Shropshire countryside halfway between Church Stretton and Much Wenlock with views up to Wenlock Edge and surrounded by open fields and farm land. The house is set in large private grounds, where we run a smallholding, rearing sheep and quite often some rare breed pigs. We also have some very free range chickens who like to wander around the fields and gardens each day.
We have two lovely rooms available for bed and breakfast, ensuring that you get a real home from home experience.
Both rooms have a flat screen TV with freeview, hairdryer and digital radio alarm. An iron and ironing board are also available.
Our signature breakfasts have won an award and are second to none, using locally sourced ingredients. In fact the sausages, bacon and eggs come from our very own fields – more on that later!
The house is secluded and surrounded by open gardens, framed by two conjoining streams. Guests are welcome to wander, visit the animals and sit out on the sheltered patio.
The World Heritage Site of Ironbridge is located nearby to the accommodation - as is the beautiful town of Ludlow with its renowned restaurants and castle. Many events, from the annual arts festival to regular antiques and farmers markets, are held there throughout the year.
For hikers, the Long Mynd is easily accessible and there is a host of other splendid walks, ranging from a gentle stroll to serious hill walking.
Gold Star Award 2012-13 and breakfast Award.
